Bondage Mummification - ever tried it?

Howdy all you good people out there in Bondageland.

I have had one of the readers of this blog of mine ask about mummification bondage.
Now being a game girl I would try most things, but this one never really appeals to me.

So all you lovely people out there, here is a question or two for you.
Yep time to interact and tell me all about it.

Do it anonymously if you wish, but I am a curious person and would like the benefit of your experiences if you have given it a go.

Have you tried it?
What did it feel like?
What did you use to do it?
Have you tried self mummification?
How did you wrap yourself up?
How did you escape, or were you let go?

There.
That should get you pondering.

My outlook on it is "Mummification:- an Egyptians way to increase the sales of bandages" lol.

Obviously there is more to this than meets the eye though.

For instance, its very restrictive, almost womb like. Do you get the feeling of regressing into your
pre-birth stage? It is also very scary. If you dabble in bondage like me, the restriction can enduce panic about ever getting out of it. The "what ifs" pop into your mind and only make you feel more scared.

I can think of a few ways of doing it.
A thick sleeping bag where you snuggle in and zip it up and try some bondage while you are in there.

Vacuum bed where you are placed between two bits of rubber/plastic sheet and the air is pumped out squishing you in between.

Then there is the obvious kitchen wrap/clingfilm. How did you mummify yourself? Put it on a stick and just jump around in a circle until you were encased? Using the plastic wrap then adding duct tape, makes you more secure and less able to escape.

Now I have had private conversations with a few of you, as to the use of Pallet Wrap. This is the industrial plastic you attach goods to those wooden pallets that ship heavy objects by forklift trucks.
From what I am told, the application of heat via a hair drier really shrinks the wrap onto your body and makes you very secure. Unless you have something to cut your way out, directly in your hand prior to your mummification, you are buggered and will need another person to cut you out. Obviously you are then open to all sorts of parter abuse such as forced orgasm/blow jobs/nipple cripples and all the other fun stuff we do with our helpless victims.

I have found a few video links just in case you guys and gals were interested in giving it a go.

The Dodderdabber link below is incredible if you click on it and have a look. I cant see there is any way of him getting out of that with out some help.

Only point I am going to make here is dont restrict your breathing.
Never put anything around your neck that can tighten and strangle or choke you; and never put anything over your mouth and nose that will suffocate you.

To comment from another point of view - usually I am the one mummifying someone: It holds a certain risk, but is very intense, especially when wrapping somebody tightly in pallet wrap and PVC tape or clingfilm and packing tape. But even a light mummification with bedsheets can trigger what I am calling the meditative aspect of bondage: The bondagee is completely isolated from the cold, hard world outside, begins to float or enters subspace nearly immediately.

On the other hand, a tight mummification can be very hard, can restrict breathing by compressing the ribcage, and can be a real ordeal when combined with further means of sensory deprivation like ear plugs or a white noise generator. And it can be real fun for both sides when using accessories like a magic wand or TENS pads (or some candles, ice cubes or other interesting things *veg*).

There is always the danger that the bondagee will panic because of the complete isolation or the tightness of the cocoon - so be prepared to get him or her out of the wrappings as quick as possible when the need arises. A first aid cutter or belt cutter should be the tool of choice; with it you can free the bondagee in one move and without the risk of harming him or her.

Another point you have to pay attention to: Inside the cocoon it gets very hot very fast - so dial the heating down and have a blanket ready when freeing your partner, because he or her will be drenched in sweat anyhow and start to shiver fast.

Hi there Jester thanks for pointing out the additional safety aspects. You are right the body goes from hot to cold quite quickly after a mumification tie.
Also its always best to have your medical shears (used to cut bandages and the like)always on hand when ever anyone is tied up. Always let your subs go if they feel faint or ill or have tingling in parts of tyhe body they are tied.
Always play safe. Now go have fun everyone.
